The New Jersey Senate, through bill A-3845/S-2284, allows the Economic Development Authority to issue grants to help businesses stay afloat and pay wages while operations are interrupted. The bill authorizes the NJEDA to extend requirements under incentive programs to obtain proof of investment and employment requirements during the state of emergency.
